Policy-making for the hydropower industry
The debate on the 2016 amendment to the Renewable Resources Act (EEG) has clearly shown that there is a vast need for information when it comes to the importance and the future expansion of hydropower plants. Far too little is known about the current role of hydropower technologies in electricity generation and the potential that is still left untapped, even in Germany.
